Valencia Basket tests itself on the demanding court of Buducnost Voli Podgorica

Valencia Basket will play its first away-game in this 7DAYS EuroCup traveling to Montenegro to face Buducnost Voli Podgorica (Wednesday 27, 7:00 p.m., Moraca, DAZN) in a round 2 game of group B that will have a very clear protagonist, Taronja captain Bojan Dubljevic.

 

The Montenegrin center will return for the first time with the jersey of a differente club to the gym that saw him grow and take off at the beginning of his professional career before heading to Valencia in 2012. He will do so 3,455 days after his last game with the Buducnost jersey, after having recovered from an ankle injury that has kept him off the court for the last three games and having the possibility of becoming the top scorer in the history of Valencia Basket in the 7DAYS EuroCup.

 

The taronja squad will try to maintain its good dynamics as a visitor at the start of this season on a court that it is visiting for the third time and where it has won once and lost on the other. To try it, Valencia Basket will recover Klemen Prepelic (sidelined from Supercopa Endesa semifinals due to an ankle injury) but will lose the participation of Belgian point guard Sam Van Rossom, who joins the other two injured players (Víctor Claver and Mike Tobey), so the young players of the second team Guillem Ferrando, Millán Jiménez and Gonzalo Bressan will complete the 12-man list for this game.

 

Valencia Basket currently occupies the third position of its group in the 7DAYS EuroCup after starting the competition beating Promitheas Patras in round 1.
